I can say with assurance that the Learning Trip was one of my best travel experiences ever. What I learned and what I saw in action left me deeply impressed.

Thank you all for opening my life to this incredible and deeply meaningful opportunity to be a part of this global community.

Join us for one of our Learning Trips. We know we don’t have all the answers. We go to East Africa to learn and build friendships.

Learning trips are designed to introduce interested friends from America, UK and other minority world countries, to life in East Africa. They form the backbone of African Road’s partnerships.

They are an opportunity to immerse yourself in the variety of cultures and contexts that East Africa has to offer, to understand how history has shaped people, economy, and society. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity to be blown away by African Road partners; the people who are constantly innovating, challenging, and changing the world.

Are you ready to be inspired?

Our next learning trip will be July 7th – 21st, 2018. We will visit Rwanda and one other country. Interested? Contact us at info [at] africanroad [dot] org with the subject line “Learning Trip” for more info!

One of the best ways to see what an African Road Learning Trip is like is by reading about the experiences of Learning Trip participants.
